StraitFix Service Agreement
By scheduling an appointment through Acuity Scheduling (“the Platform”), you (“the Customer”) agree to the following Terms and Conditions as set forth by StraitFix LLC (“StraitFix,” “we,” or “our”). These terms govern all service appointments booked through the Platform.
1. Cancellations and Refunds
You may cancel your appointment at any time for a full refund, provided that the cancellation occurs at least one (1) hour before the scheduled appointment time.
Appointments canceled less than one (1) hour before the scheduled time may not be eligible for a refund.
StraitFix reserves the right to reschedule or cancel appointments at any time in the event of unforeseen scheduling conflicts, emergencies, or other issues. In such cases, a full refund will be issued if payment has already been made.
Refunds will be processed through the original payment method used during booking.
2. Payments and Processing
Payments for appointments are processed securely via PayPal.
PayPal collects and manages your payment information directly. StraitFix does not store or have access to your payment card details or account credentials.
Your use of PayPal is subject to PayPal’s own terms, privacy policy, and security practices.
3. Appointment Confirmation
After booking, you will receive an email confirmation from Acuity Scheduling with the appointment details.
It is your responsibility to ensure that your contact information is accurate when booking so that you receive confirmation and reminders.
If you do not receive a confirmation within a reasonable time, please contact us to verify your appointment.
4. Customer Responsibilities
Please ensure that you or an authorized representative are available at the scheduled time of your appointment (for onsite or virtual sessions).
If the technician cannot complete service due to inaccessibility or unavailability, the appointment may be marked as a “no-show”, and fees may still apply.
Customers are responsible for backing up their data before any computer or data-related service is performed.
5. Service Limitations
While every effort is made to resolve technical issues, StraitFix cannot guarantee successful repair or resolution in all cases due to the complex nature of computer systems and third-party hardware/software.
In cases where a service cannot be completed, options for additional services free of charge, partial refunds or alternative solutions will be discussed with the customer.
6. Liability Disclaimer
StraitFix shall not be held liable for data loss, hardware damage, software corruption, or incidental damages arising from the performance of any service unless caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.
By booking, you acknowledge and accept these risks.
7. Privacy and Data Handling
Personal information collected during scheduling (e.g., name, phone number, email) is used solely for managing your appointment and service communication.
Acuity Scheduling and PayPal each maintain their own privacy policies and data security measures.
StraitFix does not share or sell your personal data to third parties.
8. Modifications to Terms
StraitFix may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version in effect at the time of booking will apply to that appointment.
