A StraitFix technician will attempt to determine why home-wide networking is not functional or individual device(s) are unable to connect to the home network. Actions on the networking infrastructure could include, but are not limited to:
Checking modem & router cable connections
Restarting router
Ping tests
Logging into router to check settings, IP addressing etc.
Call ISP with customer present
Individual device actions could include, but are not limited to:
Forgetting networks
Restarting device
Ping tests
DHCP release & renew
Reinstalling drivers
This troubleshooting service would best be performed onsite.
